In recent news, a Mad Sophist patriot hit the ski slopes in Buller with a spectacle in mind. The stunt was part of a competition I am running called the Mad Sophist Challenge, check it out here.
The spectacle was an ice and snow calved masterpiece bearing the words "MAD SOPHIST.COM." The stunt was met with questions as to what is Mad Sophist? So if you've found the site from that masterpiece, feel free to browse around. In short, this site is the cancerous pollyup on the anus of humanity... though many people find it to be the funniest site in existance.
For those of you who did see the snow spectacle, please email me with reports on how it happened and what it looked like. The sculptors are vaguely known to me and have assured me that photo's are on the way. (They're actually now below!)

seriously, thousands of people, its the second most popular lift on the mountain
it was full of effort too. we had to climb up thye mountain a fair bit un der the lift to get a clear patch of snow. but it was ice, so i had to scratch it out with my pole. ended up taking over an hour
when i'd only written "MA" people were yelling out yes, coz they though i was writing 'marry me
hmm. and there was heaps of "wats on the site?" and "is it porn?"

HEY! i was jsut one of the many thousands of people who was enjoying a
lesiurly ride up wombat chairlift at mt. buller, naturally i was staring at
the sno below me and lo and behold the heavens sent me a message that simply
reads... 'madsophist.com' so naturally the first thing i do when i can get
my hands on a computer that has internet acess is log on to the heaven sent
message. man u guys have some funny shit! as far as who the creators of the
heaven sent message were, i happen to have met them! i was entering the
alrberg inn to enjoy a delicous lunch and litterally bumped into the
perportraitors! i'm unsure as to wether or not they wish for their identity
to be known, so until i know for sure they shall remain known as R.M. well
their sign writing was a success and i shall certainly be spreading the word
about the madsophist.com the funniest shit around!!

Had a spare moment on my comp and remembered about the mad sophist.com site that i saw very accurately written in the snow at Buller last weekend. Saw the guys writing it as i went up the wonbat chair lift and thought it said 'marry me' at first, but second time around i saw it said madsophist. They were keen thats for sure. They must have had to hike a couple of hundred meters to write it where it was. Awesome site. Keep expanding it!!!
