The idea behind the song "Future Man" is something I'd been thinking about for many years. The idea is that I am transported back in history to meet some lame arse savages. I brag about how in my world we use light globes instead of candles and Jet Airplanes instead of camels. They're all real impressed until some wise guy sais "Ok, show us this technology.. build us something." The reality is that if I was dropped into pre 1500s Europe, I couldn't build a can opener let alone a turbofan jet engine. That pisses me off.
